Amaranthus spinosus is commonly known as spiny amaranth, prickly amaranth,  thorny amaranth, etc. The plant is astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, emollient and febrifuge. It is used internally in the treatment of internal bleeding, diarrhoea and excessive menstruation.

Capsicum pepper refers primarily to Capsicum annuum L.(Tabasco pepper)  and Capsicum frutescens L. (African chillies), plants used in the manufacture of selected commercial products known for their pungency and color.

Alnus incana is found in swamps and along the marshy banks of streams from New England south to Florida and Texas and westward to Ohio and Minnesota. The bark of this plant is alterative, astringent, emetic, laxative, ophthalmic, stomachic and tonic. The bark contains salicin, which probably decomposes into salicylic acid (closely related to aspirin) in the human body.

Aesculus hippocastanum L. is a large deciduous tree. It is a flowering plant which native to a small area in the mountains of the Balkans in southeast Europe, in small areas in northern Greece, Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, and Bulgaria (Pindus Mountains mixed forests and Balkan mixed forests).
