Diospyros peregrina is a medium height, evergreen tree that possess many branches. Their bark is of brown to black in color. Their leaves are shiny green in color having ovate shape. These are 5 to 6 inch in length and are 1 to 2 inch broad. Their flowers are of white colored and are of sweet fragrant. It is monoceous. Fruits are round 2 to 3 inch in diameter.
Diospyros peregrina is being used in mouth related ailments for gargling. It's used as enema in case of diseases of abdomen and douches in leucprrhea and uterus problems. It is also given in urine related problems and in impotence and erectile dysfunction. Diospyros peregrina is also helpful in fever and sanke bite poisoning. Their juice is used in blood disorders and in hyperacidity.
