Vitamin A is an essential vitamin, is transformed in the retina, to rhodopsin, a purple pigment necessary for good vision. Vitamin A is required  for a healthy immune system, cell growth. It has been studied as a treatment for many other conditions, including cancers, cataracts, and HIV. Vitamin A cause dryness to the skin, hair and nails. It prevents premature wrinkling, acne, dry skin, pigmentation, blemishes, and uneven skin tone. Vitamin A assists the liver in flushing out the toxins from the body.
